Anatomy and Physiology I
Human Physiology and Anatomy explores how the human body is organized and how it functions. A review of basic cell biology is followed by in-depth studies of the various organ systems of the body, including the
skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive, and integumentary systems. Laboratory activities include dissection of fetal pigs or cats. A field trip to a medical facility will be included in this course. This course is recommended for any student considering health-related fields such as nursing or sports medicine.
